We are looking for a perl programmer to extract data from various sources and help maintain and develop the perl backends for our large-scale consumer websites.
Required
- Advanced Perl - particularly in data processing
- Experience with web-based agents (bots)
- Experience with CPAN
- Experience in installing executable software within a linux environment calling them from within Perl code
- Some understanding of statistics
- Web experience
- Good communication skills
- Pragmatic approach
Any experience you have in bots, natural language processing, data mining, stats or PHP will be put to good use.
This is a full time position.
Location: This is a telecommute role. You may apply from anywhere in the world but you must have a fast, permanent
internet connection and be a proven self-starter.
