Telecommute: Online Buzz Generator
Rapid Intelligence, publisher of NationMaster,
Factbites and Qwika,
is seeking someone to provide a voice for our company and generate buzz about our sites.
Rapid Intelligence offers:
- Small, innovative team
- Opportunity to use diverse range of skills
The role will involve:
- listening to our users and engaging them
- blogging: providing stimulating stories somehow relating to any of our 8 sites to engage the blogosphere
- PR: finding relevance of our content to emerging news stories.
- communicating regularly with Luke (CEO, manager, developer, etc) and brainstorming ideas
Required:
- Excellent written English
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven ability to create buzz online (eg. having a popular blog, demonstrated success on social bookmarking sites)
- Loads of initiative and ability to work independently
- Reliable broadband internet connection
Any experience you have in marketing, copywriting, blogging, etc will be put to good use.

This is a telecommute position so you may be based anywhere in the world. You will be paid on a negotiated hourly rate and your times will be flexible.
