Advertising Sales Manager / Online Ad Operations
We are looking for someone with both technical and business skills to:- Implement an ad manager
- Develop and maintain relationships with ad networks and ad agencies
- Provide in-depth analysis and reporting on campaign effectiveness
- Implement and monitor campaigns to maximise eCPM's across all our pages.
Rapid Intelligence is Australia's largest independent web publisher with 12 million pageviews monthly.
We specialise in free research-oriented sites and search technology. Our flagship site, NationMaster.com, is a leading source for international statistics. All our sites have a global audience.
You must have the following: - At least 4 years experience in online advertising
- Experience dealing with ad networks
- Understanding of ad serving on a large scale, both context sensitive and CPM
- Good working knowledge of HTML and Javascript, familiarity with Flash and PHP
- In-depth understanding of the web
- Analytical abilities
- Initiative, enthusiasm and drive
- Excellent communications skills.
Candidates with global experience will be at an advantage.
This is a part time role where remuneration is negotiable and you will be paid a commission. Hours will be flexible but you will often be communicating with the US and Europe. You will work with and report directly to the CEO and founder. Work environment is informal and good humoured, but also empirical and result-oriented.
